The Samsung Digimax S800 digital camera is only guaranteed up to 1gb SD cards, meaning you might be able to get away with something larger, but it was only manufactured for up to 1gb. Hope this helps.

You should make sure that the SD card you've inserted into the camera has a specification that meets or exceeds the speed required by your video camera. Consult the camera manual to find this information - and optionally - recommended brand and SKU numbers.
Typically, this speed class value is on the label and is expressed as a number inside the letter "C" or letter "U" depending on card type. If the speed of the card is not fast enough, the video camera may refuse / fail to write to the card. Please check the link below for full details:
SD/SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
Most camera does have a specific SD card for it. I recommend to read the manual before putting a SD card not all camera can read memory card and buy the type and correct value of SD card some camera can take only 1 GB some 2GB or higher but some may only accept 512MB or lower. The higher the memory the the longer the capability of storing long videos but it all depend on the capability of your camera. Thanks hope this helps.....
Sometimes you can remove the SD card from your phone (if it is using an SD card) place it into your computer and theres software that you can run to retrieve the data back.
Try the following: 1. Click Start > type "regedit" and open "Registry Editor". 2. Now follow the below path after opening registry editor :- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/StorageDevicePolicies. 3. Now you will see "Write Protection" option. Double click on that and set the value data to '0'. After setting the value data to '0' again try copying or formatting your sd card. After performing the above step you are still not able to format your sd card then continue to next step. Open Command Prompt and type diskpart and press Enter key. After opening diskpart type "list disk" and again press Enter button. Now type "select disk 1".
try to format them into your pc...maybe they are still raw and that why they do not work ...also ..read the manual and see what is the max value supported.. be sure they are formatted .in FAT ..system ..
magellan has a big problem in the past with the Canada Value Pack. It did not work with the Triton. It was only made to work with the older Magellan GPS units.
Best to contact Magellan and see if they will give you a new one.
