Battery replacement Timex T2H381

This will depend on the back of the watch. Totally smooth watch back is usually a push fit. Using a small precision screwdriver you Gently lever around the back plate until it 'Pops' off. the battery should hook out by CAREFULLY using the screwdriver you used to remove the back plate. *Note* check which way up the battery is fitted BEFORE you remove it. The back plate should just push on and should quietly click when seated correctly.
Some back plates are 'screw on'. You can usually spot these by the dimples or notches on the back plate where the removal tool fits.

2000 Land Cruiser cranks but won't start

Hello,
The fuel pump looks like a pretty big job on this one. I would make 100% sure that its your problem before you dive in. Make sure you check all your fuses and relays. Also, make sure its not a security issue as no fuel is what happens when the security/immobilizer is tripped.

How do you get the clutch plates off a 2001 1200 sportster. i can't get the nut to come off

To get the clutch plates out of the Sportster clutch assembly, you do not have the take the nut off. But, to answer that question, the nut has left handed threads on it. To change the clutch plates, you must have a special tool to compress the clutch spring so that you can get the lock ring off the inner clutch hub so you can remove the spring and the plates. The tool is available from JP Cycles for about $50. There is a "lockring seat" just behind the lockring. Make sure you look at the direction this ring faces before you remove it.

Removal and installation of 1988 harley sportster clutch

In order to remove the clutch from your bike, you must have a special tool. You'll need H-D #34761 in order to remove the snap ring holding the clutch together.

Disconnect the battery, drain the primary, and remove the primary cover. Once you have the primary cover off, you can remove the nut from the compensator sprocket at the engine end of the primary chain.

Install the H-D 34761 or equivalent tool and compress the clutch spring. Remove the snap ring and then back off on the tool to release the pressure on the clutch spring. Once the pressure has been removed, remove the adjusting screw assembly, the outer clutch spring seats, the clutch spring, the inner clutch spring seat, and the pressure plate.

Then you can disassemble the rest of the clutch. Remove the remove the four friction plates and three drive plates. Then you can remove the spring plate and the remaining plates after that. Remove the snap ring that holds the clutch assembly onto the transmission clutch gear and remove the inner and outer clutch shells, the primary chain, and the engine sprocket as a group.

For this job, I would recommend that you purchase a service manual. It's has pictures that show you what you're dealing with and in this case, a picture is truly worth a thousand words.

Good Luck

1hp whisperflow pump, seal change. How?

Make sure breaker/power to pump is off. Remove the six bolts holding the wet end to the seal plate. Remove the diffuser to expose the impeller. Remove the screw in the middle of the impeller by turning clockwise (left hand threads). Remove the dust cap at the rear of the motor and use a wrench to hold the shaft while you remove the impeller by turning counterclockwise. Once the impeller is off, remove the four bolts holding the seal plate to the motor. Press the old seal out of the seal plate and clean it thoroughly. Remove the ceramic part of the seal from the impeller and clean it thoroughly as well. Apply a thin coat of lube to the seal plate and impeller where the new seal will go. Remove the new PS1000 shaft seal from the box (being careful not to touch the ceramic or carbon face with your fingers), press the metal part into the seal plate carefully, try not to bend the metal and make sure its completely seated against the seal plate. You can now install the seal plate back onto the motor and secure with four bolts. Press the ceramic part into the impeller, use cardboard or paper between your fingers and the ceramic face. Once you have seated the seal into the impeller, hold the motor shaft and thread the impeller on until snug, then reinstall the stainless screw, remember it is left hand thread so you'll have to turn it counterclockwise. Reinstall the diffuser over the impeller and then install the wet end onto the seal plate using the six bolts, don't overtighten them.

It is a good idea to replace the tank o-ring when taking to pump apart, but if the o-rings are in good condition, just apply a light coat of lube and reuse them.

This is a general guide for replacing a seal, if you have trouble removing the impeller, you may need an impeller wrench and a tool to hold the motor shaft.

I hope this helps, if you have any specific questions, email me at [email protected]

Removal of factory seat on Yamaha Royal star 1300

Hi, It opens with your key on the right side as looking from the front of the bike. Keep the key turned and pull straight up on the back of the seat. There is a tab on the front right behind the tank, so when you are putting it back make sure that tab goes into the slot first. Wow, when you get the seat off you will also find your emergency tool bag! I have royal star tour classic #41. Good Luck!
