The easiest way I have found to do this is us some Emery cloth or fine grit sand paper and sand down the shaft real good. Then spray the shaft with wd40 or other penetrating oil and use a crescent wrench and close it around the shaft to keep the shaft from spinning and turn the fan blade while gently lifting.

Hi.
Trying applying some heat to it wiyh a hair dryer or similar, then spray it with WD40 or some other kind of penetrating oil.
I am assuming that you are in the USA, as this is not a make of oven I have heard of, and I live in the U/K.
If you have not already removed the nut that holds the fan on, then do not try to unscrew it the conventional way, because if it is the same as british ovens, then the securing nut is a left hand thread, this means that to unscrew it, you turn it clockwise, as thiugh you were tightening it.
I hope this is of some help to you.
Happy new year.

In my experience of ovens in the u/k, is not usually possible to remove the motor with the fan still attached.

You are going to have to remove the fan blade assy, first.

Sorry that I cannot be more helpful to you.

Honest opinion is to just buy a new fan. BUT there are a few options to reomve it.....
1. cut the shaft and try to drive it out. 80% chance of no damage.
2. go buy a puller and remove it with it. A ok puller from a auto parts store 20 bucks. rental 5 bucks. Damage 95% no damage.
3. all the time to chase parts and gas. 20 bucks.

Hopefully you can get it removed from the shaft from the fan. Best of luck.

    Your statement:

How in the hell do you get seized on your original question?? If you would of asked that before my answer would of been competly differnt. But instead of asking a clear and competent question you give only a small portion of the requiered info that we ask experts need to properly ask a question. Then you give bad ratings.

Ok I will continue to try and help. Here are my questions and help for you. Once again I know if you follow it they will fix your question you asked.

    1. Are the screws stripped by you not having the proper tool or access? Always use the proper size screw driver to prevent stripping it.

    2. Have you opened the acess panel to the fan itself?

    3. The key in the fan will allow you to just slide it out. there is a allen screw on the key or shat that helps hold the fan. Once more if the fan has a .0002" interference fit you will need a puller.

    4. Once the fan itself is removed from the acess cover. Unbolt the bolts mounting the motor in the oven remove the motor. It will need to be removed (fan) in the oven to do the work requied to complet the job you are trying to do.

My convection oven fan won't spin, but I can hear the motor is working. It seems stuck, any ideas?

If the shaft is spinning, then blade has come loose from shaft. If it’s just humming but shaft not spinning, replace fan motor.

Fan at back off cooker struggles 2start.With a little poke it slowly starts and then kcks in speed. But now struggling with a glowing red from behind fan cover

Fan motor is probably a fairly standard or generic synchronous type motor such as is found in many applications.

This type of motor generally has an armature running in plain, prelubricated sintered brass or bronze self-centring bearings, often with a felt oil reservoir in the housings. This type of motor produces virtually no torque at zero speed and so when eventually the shaft and bearings become "gummy" and dry the motor will fail to start.

Usually removing the motor and washing the shaft and bearings in a solvent and then after drying it, relubing with a suitable lubricant should restore it to health.

Main fan motor is screaming

Sounds like a dry roller bearing or shaft. If you can remove the fan unit and replace the lubricant or grease, your fan will work again as new. Most of them work in the same principle.

Exhaust fan is hitting something while running

The fan blade shifted (moved) on the motor shaft. Take it apart (usually from the rear) and move the fan blade a 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch to clear the housing. Don't add oil to the shaft otherwise it will move again.

How do I remove the fan from an electrolux EGC652 oven

Hello,
The model no. does not seem correct.but it seems as if the hole in the fan blade which is normally D shaped has worn round. The thread on the shaft is Left handed and you will need to undo by turning clockwise. If you can get a vice grips at the back of the blade to hold the shaft then try again,or you will need to get into the back casing and try jamming the shaft at the motor housing you may need some help. Then if that works you will need to undo the 3 bolts holding the Motor body to the rear casing. The new fan would normally come with new bolts, blade and nut.To tighten fan blade nut use a 10mm socket hold the fan blade and tighten anticlockwise.Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

We are having trouble with our Double Rack Oven, DRO2G gas. We have lost the rotation. The belt is fine. The telay kicks in when we push the start button but nothing turns. We did get some turning when...

Dave Olivia's Croutons
1 check to see if the fan on the back of the rotation motor is turining
if no then motor / fuses / contacts in the relay may be gone
2- is the shaft turning on the pulley side ( but not turning the pulley) if yes then key has come out of drive shaft
3- if the motor fan is turning and the shaft with the pulley on it is not then the gear (probably the bronze spur gear) is damaged
good luck

From the inside you will find the fan. This will have 1 set screw or 2 set screws on the inside of the shaft housing. If you can remove the fan the motor will be on the backside of the oven mounted outside the cooking box.
