Unfortunately, the JVC LP21036-038 remote can only control JVC devices. It doesn't have any adjustable codes. You can choose between 3 codes (A, B, and C) so that using 3 JVC video devices doesn't result in conflicts. This remote came with the JVC HR-XVC14BU among other devices. I'd recommend you get a cheap universal remote to control the Samsung TV and the JVC vcr/dvd player.
You can get universal remote control to synchronize with its CD & DVD region only. No universal remote control is available to synchronize with any brand Blu-Ray player.
