LG 32LC2D Power light Blinks but set will not power on.

Yesterday morning the set was working fine. Left for work, and when I came home the set would not turn on. I unplugged it for a while to see if it would reset itself. Nothing. When I try to turn it on, or even when it is plugged in for that matter, the power light in the bottom right corner just blinks green/red/green/red/green. I was thinking maybe a fuse but I could use any help availabe. Thanks!!

Well, I took this to a repair shop and they told me it was the main board. I was looking to get a larger set so I just upgraded to a 37" Vizio instead of having it repaired.

My next question is "does anyone know where can I purchase a main board for this set ?" It is a LG 32LC2D 32" LCD TV. Any help on this matter wou be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

I have a similar problem. Yesterday, the set worked just fine. Today, when turning on the tv, I only get a green blinking light for about 10 sec. Then, the green light stays on and the screen lights up slightly to show just a black screen. I bought the set about 1 year 2 months ago. Any suggestions?

My LG 32LC2D will turn on the backlight so I assume the power supply is ok but will not do anything else the front led responds to the remote and that is all it will do .No picture or audio at all, could it be an input selector card causing all this grief?

I have the same problem Does any one know how to fix it. I only have the TV for a little over one year. Sometimes it comes on but than it I lose the picture, I tried to unplug it, i even held the on button it sometimes comes on and sometimes does not. It has me fustrated because the TV is not that old. I have had tube TV's for years and they are still running and never had any issues.

I have the same problem as well, the tv light turns green and blinks for a while, then goes steady but no picture at all. When you try to turn it off, it takes 10 seconds before the button responds, and no other buttons work. Anybody have any idea what this problem is?

Solved - Blinking and shut-off problem, also buzzing sound....
I replaced all these capacitors. Make sure your capacitors are 105 degree Celsius. Because I saw 2 pcs. had 125 degree Celsius which in fact my first time to see this rating. The 105 will work fine but discourage using the 85 degree Celsius.
2 pcs. 1000uf 35V
4 pcs. 1000uf 25v
2 pcs. 3300uf 10v
2 pcs. 470uf 10v
1 pc. 680uf 10v
1 pc. 1000uf 16v
Note: You have to replace all of these capacitors regardless some look good. Because some / few failed under load test. They passed my capacitor tested but actually defective when the power supply board was connected.
Second, don't forget to clean the back of the board by toothbrushing it by 91% alcohol.
Third, resoldered all transformers legs, inductors, and the 4 mosfets.
Good luck.

My hisense tv is blinking blue light, and won't turn on. Was working fine this morning, 9 hours later i came home from work and found it like this.. Blinks blue light once and stops for 1 second and...

Sounds like main board to it is faulty. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

My 42 inch LG LCD wont turn on, it worked fine in the morning. I got home tried to turn it on and it blinks green and then stays green like its on, but the screen is still black and I cant see or hear...

There are too many possibilities to know what's wrong with the set. About the only thing you could try is to unplug the power chord of the TV, plug it back in and see if that makes a difference, if not unplug again and leave for at least five hours then try again. If neither of those work you will need to get it serviced.

HP Tower (2000 Media Edition)

Sounds like your power supply unit is dead. Do you get any power or hard drive lights on the unit? If not, I'm afraid it's a repair shop problem.

Power light blinks, but tv won't come on

I have the 52" version of the Viera model. Mine went out last night and started blinking twice over and over again. I suspected overheating so i just went to bed and tried it in the morning with no luck. Then I unplugged it for more than ten minutes and plugged it back in and everything worked fine. I hope this helps.
