Westinghouse LTV30w2 has blank screen and audio only - I've tried cable and RCA inputs, still only audio. My TV flashed the picture and would immediately go to black. I unplugged the TV and when I plugged it back in and turned it on - black screen and audio only. It was not a cheap TV - but is it worth repairing?

What you have is a darfon V144 board (junk). it's a simple fix if you know how to use some basic tools and a soldering iron. Get an led (i used digikey's PN: L10041-ND) and solder it from pin 10 to pin 16 on the OZ960 chip on the inverter board. If you need the chip layout type "OZ960 pdf" in google. Hope this helps.

    Hi Trippinhrd, I can see that you're trying to fully disable the OZ960 overcurrent protection. The CCFL current will then be out of regulation, is that correct? How long you have seen a TV set work well after this fix? Thank you very much!

Blank screen w audio on all inputs already cut power for a few hours and still no go should i leave it over night wo power
Did this happen all of a sudden? If there is no video/ audio input on all the inputs then you will have a failed front end. You will need proffesional help.

How do you hook up a sound bar too a westinghouse TV
Usually on newer westinghouse tv's the only audio output on the tv is the headphone jack so you will need to buy a 3.5 mm stereo to rca converter and use that instead of the rca cables provided with the sound bar.

Hello, these are fairly new units as they have not been out in the market for that long. With that said I would recommend checkin if the audio is good using other inputs like the Tuner, Component (yPbPr) or simply RCA cables, if there is sound than mostlikely you will need to replace the main board. I would recommend to call Westinghouse customer care at 1800-701-0680 for further assistance.

if you have cable tv its probly just the cable is loose try tighting it. if that doesnt help try changing the settings. if that doesnt work then theres a slight chance you might have a bad cable

My computer is connected to my westinghouse hdtv...
The computer is connected to your display port input on the TV. This transfers video signal only to your flat screen. You need to get an RCA (white and red cables for R and L, sound)to 1/8th inch cord that will plug into your headphone socket, or OUT of audio jacks on back of tv to a stereo system or receiver/amp(soundsystem)
