Some webcams have a focus ring around the lens to sharpen the image
Some rely on the software to do this
The remainder use a combination of both.
Connect your webcam and launch the logitech toolbar from your desktop.
Click on the 'Quick capture' menu ( 2 film frames ) to start your webcam
Focus the picture as best you can by rotating the focus ring
Click on the settings menu ( 2 gear wheels ) and make the final adjustments here

My web cam is fuzzy can i fix it
If this is related to and external web-cam, the issue can be fix by turning the focus adjuster, located on top of the lens (round ring that goes around the lens). Turn around until it gets clear image.

How do I access my webcam to take pictures and that sort of thing on my new hp laptop?
  1. Ensure the web cam is secured to your personal computer (PC). Most web cams use a "plug and play" principle. You plug the web cam in; it operates.
  2. Install the required software for the web cam to operate. This may involve placing a CD in one of the drives, or alternatively, downloading the software from a host site.
  3. Always reboot the computer after installing new software.
  4. Click on the desktop icon or the program icon to start the program. If the program is correctly functioning, the web cam will start producing an image of its view on the desktop. Adjust the web cam for a clear picture and the view you want.
  5. Most web programs will have a icon for "take picture." Left click on that icon or button. The web cam, like a normal camera, will then "freeze" that image and place it in a photo library.
  6. Open the photo library and examine the image just taken. Congratulations, you just took a photograph with your web cam.

Look at the camera where the lens is, there could be a focusing ring on the camera that needs to be turned to clear up the fuzzy image.

Blurry picture
There is a focus ring around the lens of the WEB cam turn this ring until your image becomes clear, just like a camera focus knob.
Click on the WEB cam software, you will be able to go into an options or configuration, click on video setting, you should see an image of yourself, adjust the focus until the image is clear.
