Tv picture HAVING PIXEL PROBLEMS WITH MY TOSHIBA 40XF355DB MODEL. DARK COLOURS VERY BAD REALLY SEE THE SQUARES.......MID TO LIGHT BROWNS VERY BAD TOO...but not on every programs

It seems to me that you are watchin an analog signal on a digital HD TV, the analog signal is has a standard resolution of 720x576 for NTSC (American Signal) and 720x480 for PAL (European Signal).

It could be worth to go contact your cable company, they can hook you up with a digital receiver which gives a better signal and might even have a HD Signal (this means it has a HD-Ready 1280x720 of Full HD 1920x1080 resolution).

If you really want to use your LCD TV on his max this is really worth considering

U can't do any grid lines adjustments for this problems,the tv problems it is having are known as a convergence pictures problems,it is dead.The tv have any colors lines like R,G,B mis alignments,tv have any colors shadows pictures or have a 3D pictures look alike?Yes,than the tv convergence board it is dead for the tv to causes all of these convergence pictures problems.The tv convergence board must have to be repair like replacing 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence pictures problems.The tvs shops will cost like $300-350 for parts and labors.

Go in ur tv menu go "Picture"go down to reset.Press it,will go back to Factory setting.The colors should be back to factory setting.Not,than ur tv Main Tuner signal board is the cause must change to fix.

maybe or maybe not. It is a pixel that is stuck 'on' all the time. Not a warranty claim item as a few bad pixels are allowed.....

It does not spread, but that is not to say that another pixel somewhere else on the screen will not go bad.

Your convergence ICs could be going Bad if so TV will shut down if the one that starts it goes out first STKs big black ICs also 2 resistors l;ow ohm 2.7 ohms near ICs.

Hello, i have a panasonic 50" dlp tv and the picture is really dark....i bought the tv back in 2003....any suggestions...

The light engine bulb might be bad or going bad. Check it first. Then check its power source. These are you two most likely problems. I would suggest you having a TV technician perform this task.
