Try to check the back cover. If it is wet may be their was a short circuit. Have i t check to a qualified technician so that no further damaged maybe incurred by the unit. Power supply is affected if it was plug in for a long period of time with out unplugging it from the outlet. If it was turn on again it must be unplugged and rest for about half a day coz the power supply still received the current from the source.

The LCD Panel failed. There is no easy fix but try to get the T-Con board to fix the issue. However, this part is usually only available with the whole LCD Panel. This is usually the most expensive part in the TV and the whole TV needs to be taken apart to replace the panel.
Might be economically viable if you can find a place that carrys the T-con but Dynex parts are usually hard to find. The LCD Panel part alone will exceed the cost of the TV.
I had a lot of problems with the same TV but i'll be watching it and it will go full volume with static and turn off by itself then i would have to unplug it from the wall. then it would work fine for a day or a week then do it again. but today it did it and it wont work the yellow light is on but wont turn on.
working on same model same symtons,pluged sys into a vareact tv came on normal,problem gone.set works ok when plug into ac outlet.can,t say what cause problem,set work ok now without veriact.will air test three days to see if probem returns.will try freez spay on chips.
I found a solution, Heat. When the set is on and heats up it stays on, but once off for the night it gets cold and can't start, try using a hair dryer on full blast and put the heat around the back top vent like structure and wait for the light to stop blinking, this only takes about 2 min or so
