SOURCE: Whirlpool GU2400XTP clean light flashes 7 times.

easy there tiger. at least your machine will tell you what to fix. alot of people on here write in because their machine will run and run and never move the timer. they have no idea that if the water is not hot enough, the timer will not advance to another cycle. confirm the diagnosis with a multimeter and replace the heating element, if needed. checking the connections on the element may be enough. good luck

SOURCE: I have a Whirlpool DU1055XT. The unit will not work

Hi,

The flashing light indicates the water is not heating, there could be several reasons for this, I have created instructions on how to reset the dishwasher so you can use it and why it may have occurred. If you follow these and still have trouble let me know and we can dig into it deeper.

SOURCE: My dishwasher ( 66517269400) won't turn on.

The F7 error code(light flashes 7 times) is a one of these, Flow meter failure. Flow meter defect. Water inlet valve defect or water inlet hose blocked.
So what you need to check is if the correct water level is in the tub,to check that start d/w let it fill and once you longer hear water entering,open door and the water should be level or just above the heat element, if not enough water first check water pressure to inlet valve,if pressure is good replace the water inlet valve part # 8531671 it could be picked up from your local appliance parts store,or online at;

My 2001 Dodge Durango Seat heater switch light is flashing. How do I fix the problem?

That's means you have a malfunction on the system. Must be take to a dealer for check up. Can be the heater element is bad, unplug or wire is shorting out the circuit.

The Clean light is flashing and unit will not start. Manual says it is a heating circuit malfunction call a repairman. Heating element tests good, wiring appears fine. What is needed?

Hi, the reason why you are getting the flashing light is because the dishwasher failed to detect a 4 degrees rise in the water temp during the first 8 minutes of the cycle. Some reasons for this is a faulty heater, door switch,(heater runs through the nuetral side of the door switch), lack of water, d/w not filling correctly, should be just below heating element. Clear the fault by pressing following order. .

The dishwasher will go through a cancel cycle (drain the tub) and will then let you start it up again.

Whirlpool GU2548 green light flashing, nothing working

I have had the same problem with my the same dishwasher. The manual says that "the dishwasher has malfunctioned. Call service to check heater element". I called service and they are saying that replacing the heater element and possibly the electronic panel may be required. Total cost (part + labor) = $350-400!! I am very very upset with Whirlpool right now.
