Kenmore Elite dryer won't heat

If no heat at all unplug the dryer take off the vent take out the screws holding the back on there is a long oval shaped tube with two wires going into it there is a holding bracket holding it in place take out the screw unhook the wires take out a screw holds the heating coil in take out that screw inspect the heating coil for breaks it sounds like it is burned out if so replace if not it is probably the oval shaped thermostat on the tube i do hope that this was helpful then reverse the procedure, thank you.
