John Deere 855 starts and then stops after 2 seconds.

The fuel shut off solenoid has two separate windings, energize and hold. The symtom of 2-3 seconds run is likely the fuel solenoid energizing during start cycle but a failure with solenoid hold when the ignition switch is released to the RUN position. Suggest you verify the hold circuit and solenoid hold winding are working.

B) Walking Belt/Motor Belt too Tight:

If you have adjusted the walking belt or motor belt recently, check for this problem. When the belts start slipping, some people just crank

down the belts and on treadmills, tighter is not necessarily better. The tighter the belts, the more the drive system has to work to keep

everything moving. You should be able to lift the walking belt (with the treadmill unplugged) in the center of the treadmill about 3" without

straining. Tighter belts should be loosen but make sure you don't create a dangerous slipping situation by loosening.

The motor belt (with the treadmill unplugged) should be able to be turned by hand to almost a 90 degree angle from its normal operating

position. Loosen the belt if too tight. Make sure to test for slipping

and if it does with the proper tension, replace the motor belt.

97 Chevy Truck starts and idles rough and then shuts down

Sounds like you're loading up with fuel. I'd check the fuel pressure regulator. Some engines are set up with a regulator inside the intake plenum, which requires plenum removal.

2002 dodge dakota v6 3.9L starts but stalls immediatley

Sounds like your IAC motor is getting stopped up. Clean out the passage, and the throttle body. If that doesn't work, get a new IAC motor.

Mackie 1501 sub immediatley shuts down after powering up.

Hi There, There are 3 internal fuses to check that clip onto the main amp board. You can access them by undoing the two screws that are on the top and the bottom of the sub. They have flat large heads and you will need a hex key to unscrew them. If it is one of the fuses that has gone it will either be discoloured as in burnt or you will see the metal inside has split. Simply replace these with a new fuse and hey presto you should be back up and running. You might also want to check that none of the push on cable ends have dropped off fom the board as this may also stop connection going through. If you need any parts for the sub or fuses then www.LondonSpeakerShop.com will be able to supply them (that is if you're in the UK). Hope this helps. Grant (from www.LondonSpeakerHire.com)
