The Tech you had come out could be dead-on from what you've described... It could also be a bad connector. I've attached a couple of photos here to my explanation. One is a picture of what I am guessing you see on your screen when you power it up. If correct, you could possibly take a look at a line connector between the joint and formatter power board yourself and see if any of this is damaged. To answer question more pointedly, (1) There are more than three boards inside, actually nine major board modules to be exact. (2) The Y SUS board, Hitachi p/n#TS05679, without going into great detail, determines the image position on the screen. (3) Cost - - Tritronics has this board at a list price of $436.22 and they are not as easy as they might appear to a layman to change...

I just fixed my Albatron LNX-21TIS-3.
The power supply had gone out so I took an ATX computer power supply and changed the plug.
The Albatron runs on 12V and 5V just like the ATX computers. The trick is to find a power supply that is the same size then you just modify the wires on the power plugs to match up.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...
Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

I have the same TV and was unable to get the digital channels until today. I think you need to connect your antenna on the back of the TV to the ATSC jack. If you have had it connected to the VHF/UHF jack, it won't detect the digital signals. Once you have the antenna connected to the ATSC jack just Auto Program your TV and you'll find all the digital channels in your area. Good luck!

Unplug your power supply from the mother board.
Using a volt meter check for voltage at the plug.
Some power supplies have an internal fuse that
may have blown. The fuse is accessable by removing the cover on the supply(MAKE SURE IT IS UNPLUGED) some times simply changing the fuse will do the trick. if not replace the Power Supply
