Hello church organ. I know that these models are programmable from the register it's self, but I'm sure that is precisely what you are trying to avoid. The trouble here is that generally if a full-solution register is going to be programmable via PC or external source, the manufacturer will supply that software. However, there are third party developers that make general software solutions for cash registers that MAY be able to help you. I usually suggest taking a look at exPower Point of Sale by Denver Research, LLC. This may be able to help you achieve what you're looking for, but you will want to make absolutely sure that the software and PC can interface properly with your cash register. I hope this helps.
