does the charge light come on? It could be the connection piece of it, they are made pretty flimsy..

If you know how to safely do this check the voltage on the computer side of the adapter for the proper voltage.. sounds like it's on it's last legs though.

But u if plug in the A/C power adaptor charger in the DVD player still work?Could be the A/C power charger adaptor itself have problems too.Yes,than it is the litium battery not taking any more charges.Tries website like Amazon.com,Ebay.com to buy a new exact litium battery or a compatible one.These websites should have A/C power adaptor charger too.

i think that the usb interfacing corrupted so you have to open the cage and take the hard out and connect it to new usb interfacing cage

Red light indicates that the camera is out of charged., Try to charged your battery for 3-4 hrs if you encounter flashing red on a fully charged battery you need to call kodak 1 800 235 6325 ext 12

You can charged you camera using 5V AC Adaptor or a USB cable taht attached into the computer

You can used the USB cable to charged the camera, But some of the M863 camera will not take charged usign the USB cable., I strongy suggest used the AC adaptor just make sure the AC adaptor is 5V ac adaptor it will only charged using the 5V adaptor., About the flashing green it indicates camera is charging just wait for the solid green light it means it fully charged

I do not know this particular camera but it is not usual to take a battery charge from the computer. Charger plug in the the household supply. Is this one different? There is usually a more comprehensive manual in PDF on the disk- have you checked that out. Finally get on to customer support, if you feel you are getting nowhere. I would like to know more about the battery charger.
