How to connect Panasonic BD60 Blu-ray disc player to 2 components

We have a Panasonic BD60 Blu-ray disc player (replacing a combo cd/vhs player), a Panasonic Digital Media Receiver TU-PT700U and a Marantz AV Surround Receiver SR6200. Need advice to connect these three components beyond connecting the blu-ray player to the Panasonic Digital Media Receiver with an HDMI cable. Can't connect the blu-ray player to the Marantz receiver with an optical digital audio cable because the jack in the Marantz receiver seems broken. Until we get it repaired, we are using the auxilliary hook up for sound. This works with the combo cd/vhs player but I don't know how to make the connection with the blu-ray player. Can this even be done?

If there are red and white RCA jacks on the back of the BR player and on the receiver you should be able to get sound. The same as your VHS.

How do I hook up a combo vhs dvd player/recorder to my tv?

The AV OUT on your DVD player must go into the corresponding AV IN[PUT] on your TV.

Wont read some discs

This is a indicator that the laser pickup assembly is failing. Try a DVD cleaning kit to clean the laser lens, if no change it is far cheaper to replace the player than have it repaired.

No read on my 2008 panasonic dvd recorder DMR-EZ485V

Insert a lens cleaning disc into it and let it play. If this do not help you, the optical pickup unit to your playder is faulty, and should be replaced.

Need codes for all regions on Panasonic DMP-BD60

Hi, I don't think there are any codes, it has to be modified by inserting a chip, and unless you know about electronics or soldering, I would either find a friend or take it to a competent repair shop, because if it is done wrong , you will have a bricked dvd player.
Here is a link that shows you what to do.
http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-ray-players/1007948-how-make-your-panasonic-bd60-bd80-blu-ray-player-multiregion.html

Please read it carefully.

I think this is the only way.

I hope this helps you, let me know.

DVD doesn't play any disk anymore. Displays a message: this can't of disc can't be played ... I tried several different types of disks.

Same here! It would say something along the lines of "this type of disc cannot be played. please insert a different disc." it's the appropriate dvd region, i've tried all types of dvds, and it still won't work. the vhs and cd still works, it's just the dvd player that won't.
