How do i download music to a sharper image 1GB mp3 player

Downloading songs to an MP3 player is similar on all the MP 3 players.

If you would like to download to your MP# player and then listen to MP3 files on your computer, then you need:
1.An Internet connection
2.An MP3 player.

If you find a song on the web as MP3 file, and you like to download it to your hard disk , all you have to do, double click on it.
Most songs range between 2 and 4 MB, so it will take 10 to 15 minutes unless you have a high-speed Internet connection.
Once the song has finished downloading, try to double-click on the file and see what happens.

Once you have downloaded the songs, connect the MP3 player with the computer via the USB cable that has been given in the box.

One end to go inside the MP3 palayer and the other to go in the usb port on the computer. The moment you connect the MP3 player the somputer will detect the MP3 player. You can then save the copy of songs you have downladed on your MP3 player.
You can select the sond saved on your compuet by doing a CTRL+C key and then go to:
1.MY COMPUTER
2.Under the drives section it will show your MP3 player.
3.Click on the player to go inside so that you you can do a A CTRL+V and copy the songs on the MP3 player.

That should do the trick and you shoudl be able to listen to your favourite songs on the move.

Trouble getting downloaded songs to my mp3 player

I think I had this same problem. Look on your computer for the limewire folder. For instance I saved mine to my documents. open the folder. Ther should be a sub folder marked saved. This is where all my songs go to once they have completed on Limewire. good Luck :)

Take music from go gear to my hard drive ?

Just use it as usb flash drive. Connect it through USB port. If it is first time it will take a while to finish the installation. Wait until message Device installed and ready to use will pop up. After that go My computer.... find the Philips go gear. Double click will open folder. Just browse it to find the songs (might be separate folder Songs or Audio). Copy them and paste them on desktop of your computer or any othe folder.
Good Luck

I found nofiles when trying to play somgs from mp3 player

Instead of dragging the songs directly to the player, use windows Media Player to transfer the songs instead - erase all of the ones that you have dragged on to the player first before proceeeding.

The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

Music will not save to MP3 beyond 13 %

You are doing nothing wrong this just seems like a manufactuer error.

If warranty still stands take it back and explain to them the problem you have.

If the mp3 player came with a CD install the software on the CD.

Most mp3 players these days come with there own music uploading software.

I have tryed to find Delstars website but they don't seem to have an official website. If a instruction guide came with it have a look for a website.

My finall solution would to format your mp3 player (not just deleting the songs) doing format correctly.

If you want to try formatting follow these steps. Go to "Start" - "My Computer" look for something called "Removable Disk" which should be your mp3 player now right click on it and click on "Format". Allow it to format and put music on it again as normal and see if that works.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful.
