Step by step instructions for Windows 7 32-bit follow:

Insert the Panasonic CDROM.
Don't use autorun - Cancel autorun popup.
Right click on CDROM drive in "My Computer" and select 'Open'.
Right click on Setup application & choose 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'.
Select 'Troubleshoot program'.
Select "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now' & click
the "Next" button.
Select 'Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)' & click the "Next" button.
Click on "Start the program..." button.
Proceed with program installation.
When installation finished cancel out of the 'Program Compatibility' window.

If you have Windows 7 64-bit the instructions are:

Insert the program CDROM.
Installation will start.
VideoCam Suite will probably be flashing on the taskbar so select it.
The window will show: 'This application does not support this 64-bit operating system. Are you
sure you want to install?'
!!! Click the "Yes" button !!!
Proceed with program installation.
When installation finished cancel out of the 'Program Compatibility' window.

Hi, the VideoCam software isn't compatible with Windows 7, but you can still copy videos and pictures to your computer and edit or view them with other software. Videos are saved by default as MPEG-2 files, and photos are saved as JPEG files -- both of these formats are recognized by a wide variety of programs. (For example, Microsoft's Picture Viewer, which comes with Windows, can display JPEGs, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager can edit them.)

Video suite 3.0 dos not work on windows 7

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer first, then choose "troubleshoot compatiblity". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:Djulyallan01_14.jpg

I have a panasonic camcorder sdr h80 hdd with

It may or may not work, but try installing as Administrator and setting the program's EXE into "Compatability Mode for XP SP2",and also, running as Administrator. Windows 7 just doesn't want to support any hardware over like a year old... Drivers are a HUGE issue. Especially for older stuff. Compatability Mode is one way round it but not always. Also you will have to set to OFF digital Driver signing at bootup press F8, and at the bottom you will see driver signing.... EVERY TIME you boot you MUST set this OFF, or it will simply not work, thats if it does install anyway. You MUST have it OFF to install as well.

Failure to download clips to the PC from my camcorder SDR-H80

HI Yahiya. Most likely you previously installed videocam suite software using the NTSC format. Try reinstalling it using PAL format. This is the same problem i encountered on a Panasonic SDR-H90. I hope this will solve your problem.
