Hi, i recently got this error on Ricoh Aficio AP 610N
and This was the Fix..
0.- Hold on your breathe...
1.- Turn Off the printer.
2.- Press "ONLINE and SCAPE" buttons..
3.- without stopping pressing them (ONLINE and SCAPE) TURN ON THE PRINTER.. and wait about 10-15 seconds and Service menu show up.. after this.. release the buttons...
4.- Go to.. Engine Maintenance... Enter..
5.- Search for SP5810 (Fusing err clr) and Enter.
6.- Accept the change and enter...
7.- Turn off the printer...
8.- Finally turn on the printer and try to print something :)
9.- if the printer works.. you can breathe again :)
Thanks to everybody..
HI there the following is taken from the service manual best to install new fuser unit.
545 A Fusing lamp stays on
The fusing lamp stays on more than 12
seconds after the main motor has been
turned off.
• Fusing thermistor defective
• Power supply board defective
• Defective connection of the
fusing unit
The most common thing is that the fuser thermistor is dirty and stays on trying to obtain the correct temp.
Thanks J
Infiernet's solution worked like a charm! thanks so much!
Thanks.. I installed a NEW fuser main kit and still had the sc542 error.. and I rested this value and it is working again..
A melhor coisa, é deixa pra lá, não esquenta a cabeça, deixa a fritura pro fusor ... liga pro técnico de deixa esta impressora de lado ...
concorda ?

Solution number 2 worked for my 10 month old Aficio SP C410DN. The menu was different but it worked.
THANKS VERY MUCH - Saved me a service call.
