picture problem on mitsubishi medallion ws 55819 model....picture convergence messed up on left and right side of screen (center fine)...problem goes away and set "re-adjusts" after it's been turned on for awhile (heat's up?). Can i fix this myself? How is this repaired?

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55819 and the screen is curved and looks 3d. The colors are also blurry. When it warms up it looks better. Any suggestions?

It could just be the solder on the convergence ICs which needs to be reflowed. If that doesnt help then the ICs will need replacement. Your model uses 2 of the STK392-570 ICs. If you need further assistance please let me know.

I have an mitsubishi medallion hd1080 big screen tv model# ws-55819 getting code 1,2. (hold the menu and input)

Try to unplug set and try it again as if the set was unplugged and then the self check done it will be 1,2 which means NO ERROR detected.

Let me know also what the set does?

Colors are bleeding and picture blurred. Can't adjust convergence settings.

Replace the two Convergence amp ICs they are both STK392-570 Ics you can get replacements at the following link with free instructions on how to remove the old and replace the new ones.

hold down the menu + device for five sec what is the error code?
should be like 1 pause then a 2 or something
