Citizen Skyhawk - analogical time displaying incorrectly

I have set the time zone to Paris and the digital time is displaying correctly, however, the analogical time is incorrect. What can I do to resolve this?

Thanks, but I'd already tried that and can't find the answer in the manual! :(

Go to the "citzenwatch.com" website

Select "technical support"

You will see "setting instructions", where you must enter details of your watch.

Since they have a "setting "selection, your problem seems to be a common one!

It seems strange that the information you need is not there, since it is likely to be needed at some time in the life all watches when the battery is replaced.

I have a watch which had a similar problem and if it has the same layout, then the lower left hand button scrolls through a number of settings until "HS" is found.

There are two buttons on the right side that step the hands forward or backward. Try this on yours.

    Good luck.

I have the correct time set in the watch, the main analog clock shows the correct time, but the UTC analog hands19:00 when the UTC digital time is 12:00. How do I reset the UTC analog hour hands?

The hands are driven by the digital. It seems to me you have the wrong digital city. Please review the setting instructions for your Skyhawk at: http://www.citizenwatch.com/

BTW, I love my Titinimum Skyhawk

My Citizen Skyhawk analog UTC hour hand is alway 1 hour ahead of the UTC digital hour. I've tried reset and the hour/min hand alignment process without success. Any ideas other than sending in the watch...

You've gotta go to the set setting, one click out on the knob and cycle through all the timezones using the B button (the lower one) to change all the settings to OF (for winter) or ON (for summer time). According to their website FAQ, they can't determine when daylight savings time goes into effect for all the different time zones so there is no automatic changeover from SMT to normal and back again. Disappointing, I know. I just spent half an hour going through their website looking for some master switchover as well.

I can't get the clock hands to correspond with the digital time.

You must set the "Zero" position for your watch. Follow the instructions at this address and your problem should be corrected.

Changing analoge time with citizen skyhawk

mode is time, press both buttons simultaneously. This did not work for some time. I tried pulling the crown in and out and then doing it. Probably not related. The buttons may not have been making good contact?
At any rate, this changes the analog hour to the selected zone.

Analog time set

Yours is a light driven watch?

If it is like my watch, you cannot set the hands as the hands are driven by the digital.

Citizen Skyhawk Time Adjustment Problem

It is possible to set the main analogue hour and minute hand 30 minutes out of phase with the digital readout, but doing so will also put the analogue UTC dial 30 minutes off. It can be done by using a variation of the proceedure for zeroing the watch hands as follows: 1. Rotate the crown in its normal opering position to set the watch in chronograph mode (mode dial pointing to "chr") 2. Pull out the crown to the second click. This should cause all the hands on the watch to return to zero. "HR" should appear on the left-hand digital display. This will allow you to move the hour hand by twisting the crown. Advance it to about half way between the 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock positions. 3. Press the top button. "MIN" should appear in the left-hand digital display. This allows you to adjust the minute hand. Twist the crown to advance it to the 6 o'clock, or 30 minute, position. Note that this will also move the minute hand on the small UTC dial to the 30 minute position. 4. Press the crown back into its normal position. 5. Reset the digital time and date according to a time zone that is in a one-hour offset from UTC. This is not a perfect solution. Your digital readings will show the correct time for all one-hour offset time zones while your analogue nads are 30 minutes out of phase. Your small UTC dial will also be 30 minutes out of phase with the digital UTC. Hope this helps.
