Having noise means some obstruction near the rotating tray or its motor need some lubricant. Has for no cook but control seems working, the magnetron and its fuses is the culprit because it doesn't anymore produce heat to cook food. I hope that advice help you.
If it is making a loud noise, check the diode and magnetron for damage. BEWARE OF LETHAL VOLTAGES! The fault may be just the diode and a reasonable cost will be involved. If it is the magnetron, depending upon where you purchase one from will command the price. Hope that helps.
sounds like the hi voltage diode or capacitor are intermittant, the thump is the transformer drawing current when the magnetron tube calls for hi voltage to operate, you will see the lights dim slightly every time it cycles the mag tube for heat
hi..Your micro hood is "shot".so it is not working properly. The food may not be heating,but the electrical and the walls of the unit might heat.This may cause sparking and melting of the interior of the unit. check it out.. thank u.. kindly rate my response..
