I have the same problem but from what I have seen from the solution is to press "menu" on the hand set. There is no "menu" button. I then found a manual for this phone. It said to press the mute button on the base and then the 3rd soft button on the handset to press for "ok". This did not work either. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

IF it was a used handset it was likely registered to another base. I just switched bases (1line to a 2 line base). I had to "deregister" the handsets from the old base. I am not sure if you can deregister if the old base is not present? With the old base plugged into power I hit the "function key" at the bottom left of the handset and scrolled down to initial settings. Under registration is "deregistration". I selected that and it put the handset back to its default out of the box. Then simply hit the mute button on the New base and OK on the handset. Worked for all 5 of my old handsets.

Hope this helps

If you have a Kx-tga270 phone that is registered to a base you do not have you can still register it to a new base by pressing and holding the mute button until the light flashes, the on the handset go to menu and go to inital settings register and press OK

Can the Panasonic KX-T7667 phone work with the Panasonic KX-TES824 PBX?

Yes, the Panasonic KX-T7667 phone and the Panasonic KX-TES824 PBX are compatible.
The KX-TES824 should be able to accommodate different handsets because it is made to work with a variety of Panasonic phones, including the KX-T7667 model.

You must connect the KX-T7667 phone to an available extension port on the PBX and configure it with the proper parameters using the PBX programming software or a web interface in order to add the phone to your current PBX system.

It's vital to keep in mind that the KX-T7667 is a proprietary phone made just for Panasonic PBX systems and might not work with other phone systems or third-party hardware.

TOO FAR FROM BASE

Hi! This may cure your problem!
Re-registering the handset
If “No link to base. Move closer
to base, try again.
” is displayed
even when the handset is near the base
unit, you may need to re-register the
handset to the base unit.
Important:
LMake sure the base unit is not being
used.
LHave the handset and base unit near
each other when re-registering the
handset.
LKX-TG5422 and KX-TG5423 only:
Confirm the extension number of the
handset which has lost its link to the
base by placing the handset on the base
unit or charger.
If you accidentally assign another
handset’s extension number to it, the
other extension will stop functioning.
1 Handset:
Press {MENU}.
2 Scroll to “Initial setting” by
pressing {V} or {^}, then press {>}.
3 Scroll to “Registration” by pressing
{V} or {^}, then press {>}.
4 KX-TG5421 base unit:
Press and hold {HANDSET
LOCATOR
} until the CHARGE
indicator flashes.
KX-TG5422 base unit:
Press and hold the handset locator
button that corresponds to the handset
you want to re-register ({HANDSET
LOCATOR
