Advent wireless keyboard keys do not show the right letter. When I type a letter on the wireless keyboard the wrong letters appear on my PC. ie When typing the letter ''d'', the letters ''b'd'' show on my computer screen. When I type ''z'', the letters ''.zj''shows on the screen. I suspect that they keyboard is set to the wrong language. Any idea how to reset the keyboard back to an English qwerty keyboard configuration?

My keyboard will only type numbers not letters when activating Quark 7

Alan, good day.
no PC told, makers name and model ( and super hard to guess me)
quark 7 is an app for word press. i guess and is unrelated. !
no OS told, at all, windows (what V) MAC, android, Chrome, Linux?
what OS?
does the keyboard work in BIOS correctly then the keyboard is ok and the unstated OS is a wreck. or , (ESP day)

the keyboard has 104 keys are you saying the all fail, NO.
bingo below (MY ESP)
or just the KEYPAD right side is wrong,(below numlock)
but a 104 keyboard, PAD never does letters. ever on the PAD !!!

so this must be (unstated) undersized laptop? that has those horrid,
key PADS stuffed into the main A to Z board. set.
and those are a pain, they have 3 levels, via FN key use.
the manual on your PC shows who to USE the KEYPAD
it shows on some how to set the way it works in BIOS settings
one cure easy is buy external real keyboard 104 keys.
bingo;
or learn to use yours, via RTM read the manual, there are special Fn keys to use, no 2 PC do this same way, ever. (brand/model)

got a PC like this,??? with super undersized keyboard.
NO PC TOLD I guess and show this. a prime example
the blue letters on this kbd , mean virtual keyPAD

The "v" key is malfunctional. It does not input if I key it alone. The letter appears when I type a word with the letter v in it, but the spelling is wrong. It shows up after three letters or so. Sometimes...

Is this a laptop, phone, or a pc keyboard?

If it's a PC keyboard you might be able to pop the key out and clean under it. I have went as far to clean PC keyboards in the dishwasher. (low heat, no soap, no high temp dry... and then shake all excess water out... and let dry for a week or two.. before you plug it back up.) But do this at your own risk.

If this is a phone, and it is on a touch screen, then try going into settings and changing from samsung keyboard to default android keyboard.. or vice versa.

My letter keyboard is showing numbers and not letter..please help. (advent laptop)

Laptops do not have as many keys as a normal keyboard so often they include the numbers over letter keys.
So, by mistake you pressed a ctrl or alt or [A] key that simply switches the keys from letters to numbers.
A light or indication must be ON on your laptop indicating that it's Numbers or Letters ON.

Find the key that changes the function and restore the function to letters.

When I type letters or numbers on my Gateway KR-0532 wireless keyboard, each stroke of the keys causes 'skipping,' (while typing a word, for examle, if I type at a regular speed, the words will be missing...

have you tried replacing the batteries in your Wireless keyboard? it could be that simple as the wireless may be dieing if there is not enough power to send the information of what your typing.. Try this before you change your configurations in Windows.

Hope this helps,

Keyboard types upper case digits instead of lower

It sounds like you may have turned on the calculator function - Does one of your F keys have a light on - F10 or F11, if so Press Fn and the key that is lit up.
