Recall I have a Lakewood Heater, model 2727. It looks exactly like the model 5101 that was recalled. I was wondering if this was model 2727 was recalled also. I plugged it in this afternoon for the first time and it make a bubbly sound for about 10 minutes and it seemed once heated it stopped that noise. But I was curious and looked it up on line and there was a recall for the 5101 with a picture and it looked the same as my model 2727. So, I unplugged it. If there is a recall, where do I return this. I bought this over a year ago. Thanks. [email protected]

We have a Lakewood Model 6500 oil filled heater and need to get replacement casters. Can you help with a website and size for replacement?

You should be able to get them on Amazon. Just measure the stem for diameter and length

No parts suppliers, I read they are no longer in business. The consumer recall probably finished them.

Lakewood radiator heater model number 5101. The heater just stopped working all of a sudden. The buttons still light up when switched on but there is no heating. please help as I dont have any other...

Sounds as if the element is burnt out or the tstat is broken. the tstat is the more common as they use very cheap ones. Unfortunately you can't get these. My suggestion is to buy a new one.

Reposting: I have a lakewood oil filled radiator heater that will NOT turn on. Is there someplace or something I can do to have it fixed?

Depending on its age, you can return it to the place of purchase. Because the cost of repair will almost certainly exceed the cost of replacement, it is not a practical option. If you have a friend who is comfortable with electrical systems, you could try that. There are a few brands of oil filled heater that have recalls. The consumer safety bureau or the manufacturer may have information about a recall on your product. This is a good time of year to purchase a new one as many stores are just starting sales on heating appliances. Farmerbear at FixYa

Lakewood space heater thermostat source

No I never had any luck and the parts likely 1/2 the cost or more of a new one at wal mart and the heat element would still be old too
