Laptop Screen is Blank

Connect it to another monitor,and see if it comes on. Your screen may be damaged.

it doesn't matter how old your laptop is..matter is in laptop their are two type of IC (integrated circuit) horizontal and vertical. i am sure one of your ic ge damaged due to power failure so just check it at the near by shop.

Connect your computers to an external monitor and press the appropriate F key combination (Shift + F7) to switch video output to the monitor. If you see an image on your monitor you have a bad LCD screen or back light inverter. If not you need a new motherboard. Guy that gets ticks, you need a new motherboard anyway.

Maybe not. Find the FN key. It is usually BLUE in color
Then look on TOP row of Computer keyb (or all over) and find CRT/LCD.
Press the FN and that key and your screen should come back. You accidentally sw. it to CRT (outside, external monitor)

Same Problem. I fixed mine with a baseball bat, hammer, and a cold beer. Lesson learned: NEVER BUY DELPHI AGAIN. NEVER..... Tell your friends. Delphi = POS

Your CD drive is bad or its the videocard gone out at that exact moment you had the CD in.
