You don't any driver of the USB drives on XP. The drivers are built-in with the OS. If the USB stick does not work than that might be another problem. Read my previous entries, http://www.fixya.com/support/t4094662-usb_key_problem and http://www.fixya.com/support/t4202542-when_plug_in_pc_show_pendrive might be helpful.

You can do then please
!. Check the same Memory Stick on another PC (if possible then of same configuration as your PC)
2. Make sure your Pc has Updated antivirus.

If both are Ok then follow the steps
1.Backup the Memory Stick data on other PC.
2. Format the Memory Stick.
3. Paste the data back to the Memory Stick.
It will solve your problem.
