I have an LG LDF6810ST dishwasher that has a leak on the bottom right hand side of the door. It appears to be leaking from inside the door itself. The dishwasher is 2 years old. I checked the inlet water to make sure connections were not leaking and they were not. I live in a rural part of Alaska so after talking with the LG help desk I'm pretty much on my own. Any ideas?

Leaking door

Step one is to carefully inspect the gasket that is mounted on the dishwasher (not the door) and search for damage.

If the gasket has not failed, look carefully as the door is closed. If the door/hinges have been damaged (sprung) your dishwasher can not close completely.

Report back here what you found and if that does not solve the problem there are further steps to take,=. OK?

Door leak in LG LDF6810ST Built-in Dishwasher

Your drying vent tube is probably leaking inside the door panel.  Remove the outer front panel and on the top left side, there is long white plastic tube connected to the dryer fan assembly.  In that connection is where the problem is.  You will need to disassemble the fan from the door, disconnect the tube from the fan, clean out the water and debris and use silicone when reassembling the tube to the fan.
