Remote start on my 2000 Toyota Sienna van starts fine but after a couple of minutes shuts off and repeatedly restarts and shuts off. I have prestige remotes. Otherwise i don't know the model.

Prestige is a line of vehicle security and remote starts made by audiovox. Sounds like either a bad connection or a defective brain. Any car audio shop should be able to diagnose....however i would try to find a prestige dealer. While labor will not be under warranty the unit itself may be.

You have to contact Audiovox by web or phone to order the dot matrix remote. It cost $85 + shipping. I'm lookin for a way to order online myself.

one purchasing the new remote audiovox will send you an instruction manual on the steps to programming the new transmitter. it is fairly easy, and they will give you the number to there tech department that if you have any trouble they will also walk you through it. hope this helps

Prestige platinum by audiovox need to replace the remote for it

if you need a remote you can buy one from audiovox.com and also you can download the installation manual and user manual in which that will tell you how to program the new remote for the remote start.

IF RANGE IS NOT IMPORTANT I SUGGEST A AUDIOVOX AS9076N . ITS AN ADD ON REMOTE START WHERE YOU WOULD PRESS
LOCK
THEN UNLOCK
THEN LOCK AGAIN ON YOUR FACTORY REMOTE AND THIS WOULD START THE CAR.
I BELIEVE THE IGNITION KEY HAS BUILT IN KEYLESS ENTRY BUTTON ON IT ALREADY. SO WHY CARRY ANOTHER REMOTE?
MOST OF AUDIOVOX MIDRANGE SYSTEMS HAVE THIS OPTION FOR ADD ON REMOTE START SYSTEMS WHERE YOU CAN USE THERE REMOTE OR TIE IT IN WITH YOUR EXSISTING REMOTE.
OTHER UNITS WILL HAVE DOUBLE LOCK OPTION TO START CAR. OR TRIPLE LOCK OPERATION.
