Hi dear, You can download the manual from (http://www.retrevo.com/support/Sanyo-VPC-T850-Digital-Cameras-manual/id/23093ci462/t/2/) this site. Have FUN !
Go to 'Messenger' in the menu and select the option 'My Display Picture' or press Ctrl+Shift+F8 and you will get a window
1.select the option "share my picture"
2. click the button to select the picture
3. Delete the old picture you were using, by selecting the picture and click the button 'delete picture'
4. Select the new picture and click OK
When you are viewing the pictures in your digital camera there should be an icon of a trash can to delete the picture-
Also if you have a sd card reader for your computer you could just put it in there and highlight the pictures you want to delete and press the delete button on your keyboard.
The easiest way to delete them is through Windows Explorer, however you can delete them in Photosmart Essential by right clicking on the picture and select "Delete from Disk".
You can delete multiple pics by selecting all the pictures you want to delete (checking the little box) and then right-clicking and select "Delete fron Disk" one time.
When in the playback menu, toggle the zoom out, as if you had already zoomed in on an object and then wanted to zoom back out. This should cause the pictures on your camera to be displayed in thumbnail mode. When you hit the trash/delete button in this viewing mode, you will be given the option to delete the entire folder's contents. You can also highlight a selection of thumbnails, then delete them all at once by choosing the "Select" option.
