I can't Browse in Mozilla Firefox...It says it might be prevented by firewall or proxy.But I can't fix it.

Go to start | run type "firewall.cpl"
click on second option
"Off not recommended" click ok
then to try to browse ..it will be ok..

Do you have IE installed. I highly recommend having more than one browser installed. try browsing with IE...if you can get online then the problem is with Firefox....

How do you connect to the Internet? Check network connections in Control panel..make sure your preferred connection profile is enabled.

Cannot open because it says proxy server will not allow it
If you are not using a proxy server:
From within Firefox: Tools > Options > Advanced > Network tab > Settings > No proxy > Ok all the way

Normally this is caused by a bad Proxy Settings. I have included the instructions below to assist you:

To check your Firefox proxy settings:

  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and select Options...
  2. Select the Advanced panel.
  3. Select the Network tab.
  4. In the Connection section, click Settings....
  5. Change your proxy settings:
    • If you don't connect to the Internet through a proxy (or don't know whether you connect through a proxy), select No Proxy.
    • If you connect to the Internet through a proxy, compare Firefox's settings to another browser's (Such as Internet Explorer. See Microsoft's guide to proxy settings).
  1. Close the Connection Settings window.
  2. Click OK to close the Options window

Mozilla firefox is considered to be one of the best Browsers today..and was mot popular before the Chrome.. so try to Download it again and install it properly hope it should. also see if the sonic firewall is blocking it or not( which it shoudn't) other wise try some things like Google chrome. wiz i think is cool.
