You need to upgrade your blackberry software, since even your blackberry unlocked that software configuration still using default setting from your old network provider. Some phones have other problem after unlocked like browser stuck, death microphone etc. In this case your blackberry curve 8330 unlock code for verizon is working but you need some a little job to fix up your software. Like i said before that is a general trouble that may happened when we put blackberry unlock code at the wrong sequence.
Hey! I am not sure what player you are using. If you are using widows media player, you should turn your videos into WMV format which is for playback on it. Therefore, you need get the right video format for your player. You can use some video converter software to convert your video into the right format. You can have a free try of this Video Converter which is fast and easy-to-use.
Hope that helps.
open up your camera like you are going to take a picture, and click your blackberry button. go to options, inside there you will find picture size and picture quality. change your picture size to medium and your quality to fine. if they pictures are still too big, then just play around with those settings until something works. Hope this helps.
you can connect the phone using the usb cable to the laptop/pc/mac that
you are using then open your desktop manager (blackberry).....open
apploader then click on software update and upload the OS back to the
phone this should work.. thks :)
1st check the video formats for the videos your trying to play. most fones only play Video: MPEG4 Video 320×240, 300 Kbps, 20 fps Audio: LAME MP3 44100Hz stereo 96Kbp. using this format reload the video and try it. secondly ive had trouble with my fone and this isssue was a blown speaker because the fone got to much moisture. check this or call your carrier.
take the back cover off and see if there's lint buildup on the speaker.. if so, take some canned air to it and blow it out. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE LIQUID CLEANERS! it'll eat away the insulation foam pad around the speaker and camera.
Solution #1 isn't really the solution. Yes, the Blackberry 8330 only plays 3gp videos. However, it also only records 3gp videos, and the mobile version of youtube streams in 3gp. Not really a solution. I have since gotten my BB replaced through RIM. I called Sprint a number of times and was eventually connected with RIM support. (If you call RIM directly, then you have to pay...if your carrier transfers you, then you don't.) I told the guy I spoke with that I work on these phones for a corporation HQ'd in Atlanta. I told him that I had performed many hard resets, reprovisioned the device for the network, and even wiped and reloaded the software 3 times. Nothing ever fixed it. He then shipped me a new phone. It don't believe it has anything to do with the size of the video, as some sites have suggested. I have taken video that was 1 second, all the way up to and over a minute. They never played. So far, this new phone will play videos that it takes, however, youtube will still fail 90% of the time. I am begining to wonder if there is a fix. It seems that everyone I've talked too has eventually gotten thier Curve replaced, and never fixed.
The blackberrys link to outlook and not their own calendar/contact manager. If you have outlook at home, you should be able to use the desktop manager software to sync with that.
