Problem with hot water from Vokera Excell 80sp boiler

Recently purchased new home, pilot light on the boiler was not lit and we had hot water pretty much instantly but no heating. I light the pilot light and now we have to wait up to 5-10mins to get hot water and the radiators get hot too. Is this normal?

You sure it was not lit because without being lit the boiler should not light the main burner [the pilot flame heats a thermo couple which when hot tells the boiler it's ok to let the main gas supply go the main burner]
Have you a hot water cylinder, separate from the boiler, say in the bathroom
If so I suspect the original hot water supply was from this and activated/heated by an immersion heater
%-10 mins for radiators to heat up can be slow but normal

I got vokera excell 80 sp boiler ,after above tamprature 70 its turn off then i have to turn off after 20min i turn on then it work but again after som e time it cut off pls help

It could be the boiler is overheating and has to cool down before it can come back on. Look at the pump and make sure it is on speed 3, also drain some water and make sure it isnt dirty if it is you could have a blocked system that requires powerflushing.

I have a Rheem PG50T9A gas hot water heater. We had hot water this morning. When I came home the pilot light was out and won't stay lit. Any ideas?

Hopefully just the thermocouple. The thermocouple is the small rod right next to the pilot light. The flame on the pilot heats up the thermocouple and keeps the gas valve on. You can replace it yourself. The thermocouple will be connect by a small nut on the underneath side of the valve, and you will have to pull the thermocouple out of the pilot assembly. Not an expensive part, you can get it at any hardware store. Hope this helps you .

Hi. Had a code 10 on my Vokera UNICA HE boiler. This was due to the overflow pipe freezing up. The pipe has been disconnected from the boiler and the boiler pipe is now dripping into a bucket. However, the...

I had the same problem. There's another clear rubber pipe underneath, that runs from the front right to a pump in the middle. I had to pull it off and dry it with a hairdryer before mine would light properly. Blast into the hole the pipe came off too to dry the sensor if there is one.

Low pressure on recently serviced Vokera 14/48se.

Identify the cold feed to the boiler, then look for a tap/service valve which when turned lets water into the boiler via a fill loop to pressurise it. 1-1.5 bar is ok

Water heater pilot light

it also sounds as though the pilot injector could be blocked so when the boiler comes on it extinguishes the pilot & then when the burner goes off boiler shuts down, or also the pilot rate maynot be set right, so when the main burner kicks in it robs the pilot of the gas it requires.
It could be that, or there is lack of ventilation for the boiler, so you get flame lift off when the boiler fires?
