Download print cd version 2 from the epson site.Then install epson easyprint v,3.10,same site. Install both on your computer.
Open print cd. Load your picture.Click on print. A window will appear saying driver not istalled. Click ok.Another window will appear. Click on manual Print.Select properties. Set source to Manual. Set type to CD/DVD. Click ok then ok again and it should print.

Trying to print CD label and error message "CD/DVD guide open" will not print CD . . . but it will print on paper.

press and hold 3 buttons
stop, power &
Maintenance (the one with red light over)
for 10 seconds
a message will come on screen
counter is reset and turn off
turn back on

Stops printing cd half way

It seems your printer cannot seem to recognize the CD tray. Purchase another CD tray. You can try compassmicro.com.

Epsom Stylus Photo R300

Yes I had a similar problem and in fact returned my printer for a replacement. You need clearance as the CD tray emerges some 2.5 to 3 inches behind the printer. If the tray hits an obstacle it is unable to correctly line up for printing and the trat is rejected
