I think this type of GPS is made specially for Japan area, and to change language and maps for your location in order to be working on your locations, the original panasonic DVD operation/setting disk is required which should be provided with panasonic strada GPS
Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software free.
When you download the manual and save it to your Documents folder, be sure to give the downloaded file a file name you can find again easily - maybe: Panasonic Strada CN-NVD905U.

no it cant, i have the same thing and have been down that path. it requires navigation DVD's of NZ maps which are proprietary to that japanese gps system and they do not exist
