My washer stopped and displayed the LE error code. I turned off the power button and tried again, but after a few seconds it want back to LE. Finally, I unplugged the power cord, plugged it back in, and the washer ran normally.

LE?

well without a type of appliance or a model number i can only generalize with a few other lg appliances..
le on a washer as pictured with complaint is locked motor error.
a complete model number will help, or you can look within your owners manual or find it online through several sources..
best of luck

My washer is marking LE.What does that mean?

This is a motor overload. Could be too many items in the barrel. I have had this code in the past and took some items out and it went away. I still think there is an underlying issue with the hall sensor or the motor altogether.

Lg washer

From the manual - LE is overload in motor. Restart the cycle after 30 minutes. If LE is not released, call for service.
