I keep getting the same message while trying to sign into my gmail account. Can't stablish a reliable data connection to server. This could be a temporary peoblem or your sim card may not be provisioned for data services. I have not been able to log into the apps market because of this.

Check your proxy and your web based plugins, disable and try again

reinstall the software.....

   • Connection Type: IMAP4 (I prefer IMAP for gmail, you can also use pop3)

   • Password: Your Gmail Password
   • Download: Headers Only (Keeps the data usage to a minimum)
   • Check Interval: Off (Any Automated setting uses data. I use a 12h interval)
   • Outgoing Server: smtp.gmail.com
   • Username: [email protected]
   • Password: Your Gmail Password
   • Allow Connection: Any Network
   • Auto Connect: Off
   • Your Name: <your name>
   • Signature: <Anything> (This will be attached below every mail you sent from your phone)
   • Copy Outgoing: [email protected] (so that you have a copy of the mails you send from your phone)
   • Encryption:
     • Incoming Server: SSL
     • Outgoing Server: TLS
   • Incoming Port: 993
   • Outgoing Port: 587
2. Press Done
3. Select Your Account Name from the list of accounts
4. Go back to Email>Inbox
5. Select Send&rec
6. Gmail is set up on your phone

ask them to send you the INTERNET /WAP settings

Try this solution. It helped me on the past.

If you can't log on direcly to Gmail. Use your google account to log into "Youtube" and it will automatically add it to the list of your accounts.

Hope this solution helps ^^.

Try making the Google Mail account on a PC first, then login via your phone.
