Can you let me know what is the maximum installable HDD capacity 0f Lenovo laptop 3000 C100.Can i upgrade present capcity of 40GB to 320GB ?

This model only supports the following hard drive capacities & types:

  • 40 GB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm high, PATA interface
  • 60 GB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm high, PATA interface
  • 80 GB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm high, PATA interface
  • 100 GB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm high, PATA interface
If you need more disk storage capacity, I suggest that you buy an external USB hard drive.

Yes, it must be a 2.5 IDE (not Sata) drive and 320 it would recognize fine.

If you have windows xp with service pack 3, there is no limit. There is no limit if you run Vistaor Windows 7. If you don't have service pack 3, you are limited to 137 gb.

Lenovo 3000 y410 graphic card upgrade?
Lenovo Y410 System RAM can handle up to 2GB of memory. Since the machine has 2 slots for RAM and you already have 1GB preinstalled with the computer all you need to purchase is another stick of 1GB RAM.

There is no chance of upgrading Graphics card since it doesnt have a video card slot and the preinstalled VCARD is onboard.

Perhaps the key is slightly stuck? Try very gently pulling up on the key, or to be safe, look up a video online that shows you how to remove the key cap and see if there is an issue.

you dont mention about the problem. If you have problem in sound device then see below instruction:-

go to the www.lenovo.com> choose country>support and downloads > give your model no.> and search for XP or VISTA drivers.

download it and install in your computer.after that restart your computer

Yes, your board will support 320gb. I am not aware of a limit to how many gigabytes you can have per computer. I currently have 1.5 terabytes. 1500gb.
