Hello!!! Thanks for letting me ask these nagging questions. I bought a set of six JBL Home Theater Speakers.I did manage to have them connected and working. But I face a dilemma: How do I connect my...

You want to connect the JBL's to the yamaha using standard speaker wire. Get a few HDMI cables and run one from the blu ray to the yamaha and from the yamaha to the tv. To use the JBL's for watching tv, get an optical cable or coaxial cable (either will work) and connect that from the tv to the yamaha and you are all set.

I wanted to know if there is a way to hook up the sound from a Panasonic DMP-BD655P-K Blu-Ray player to my existing Yamaha DVX C310SW home theater system. I know I can hook the Blu Ray directly to the TV...

Yes this can be done. You have several options for audio hookup. Stereo 2-channel (white and red) RCA cables, digital audio (optical or coaxial) or HDMI. Your home theater must have the inputs available such as optical, coaxial etc. Typically the stereo 2-channel RCA is the simple way. Just connect from the Bluray audio outputs to the Home theater inputs (white and red) for stereo sound. Select the input on the home theater. For Dolby Digital 5.1 use optical digital audio cable (black port) or coaxial (orange RCA port) from Bluray to similar home theater input.

How to connect the PS3 to RX-V365 to get best sound qualitity in films. I have sony BRAVIO LCD wiht PS3 and I recently bought RX-V365 Yamaha home theater system. Please advice on connecting all three to...

You can connect PS3 video via HDMI to receiver and from receiver via HDMI to TV. But RX-V365 doesn't support HDMI audio, so you have to connect audio separately via SPDIF digital cable. I think PS3 uses optical SPDIF, so you will need optical cable. If you can't find cheaps optical cables in your shop, you can try byuing from ebay ($1-5 max.)

Need some sound to my home theatre system

Just 2feb827.jpgrun red and white composite audio cables from the audio out ports above the AVin1 ports on the back of the tv to one of the audio input ports on the home theater system, remember which input port you connected it to and when you want to watch tv with the home theater sound just switch to that input on the home theater system.
