The first thing is to try going in the tv's menu
It should be similar to this:
Menu>setup>channel setup

once you find something similar, run the channel setup and it should add in the channels

If that doesn't work, screw on the cable wire, unplug the tv for a good few minutes, then replug the tv and it should automatically scan

You might try and order manual # 4-087-509-21 its only $9.00 and is for model KV-HX700

my sont tv model no. KV-XF21M83 (21 in's) indicator lamp flashes red a number of times between 3 secounds interval
the color of the tv has gone faded. The channels name on the top right or left side is not seen properly
The EHT is sparking near the picture tube.

hello, you may have a manual switch botton problem, check those volume control switch, do some test, check the board for some cold solder or short connection. ty
