I can sell you a replacement bubble tube. They are fairly easy to replace. I just need to know which one you need, straight, small curved or large curved. Rod Stebelton, [email protected].

2004 Jeep Liberty V6 Limited power steering issue!

Yes you have a fluid leak alright. If a fitting is cross-linked when tightened it could leak there. If a Fitting along the line is loose, a leak may happen there. I would start at one end of the line and inspect it for damage all the way to the opposite end. If you have a hose, they tend to dry out and crack or spit at the ends causing air or fluid leaks. If the tubes in and out are tight, inspect the entire line for fluid deposits on the outside. Look for damage to rubber lines that run along the engine and dry out, burn, or damaged from road debris. Lastly, have someone get into your vehicle while it is running (brake ON in neutral) and press down on the brake peddle as you observe to locate a small leak. You may fist dry off the lines before the test.

How do you use fluorescent gas leak detector fluid? I got a small tube with the gas line installation kit for my new range.

Adjust desired spray pattern. Spray to coat the suspected leak. Look for bubbles or foam. Microscopic leaks are indicated by foam, larger leaks produce larger bubbles.

Leaking transmission fluid after towing camper.would like to know where fluid could be coming from.

this is usually a case of the very hot rans fluid expanding and bubbling out either the dipstick hole or the vent on the transmission case.

Check fluid level, keep to low side of stick when towing. Consider adding an additional trans fluid cooler that has at least one large tube so fluid flows through in cold wetaher.

Brakes on 200 GMC jimmy

get a bleed kit or make up some with clear plastic tubing fitted to each bleed nipple
run tubing into a clear dispoable container for each with enough fluid in them so as not to allow air back up the tubing! 2inches deap should do it so long as the tube cant move out of the fluid!
then you can open all four nipples & slowly pump the pedal & dont lat the master cylinder get too low on fluid! [dont pump hard or fast as it creates bubbles]
when no air is left in the system [no bubbles in jars or tubing then close all nipplse!
allow a couple of minutes for the rubbers to settle to original shape then you should have pressure at the paedal!

Braking

Most likely you have air in your brake lines. You must bleed the air out of them. Hook small clear tube to brake bleeding nipple, the other end of the tube into a clear container filled with enough brake fluid to cover end of tube. Fill brake fluid reservior. Loosen lock nut and cinch hand tight. Start car, press brake pedal. While someone holds brake pedal depressed, open lock nut. If you are doing it right, you will see brake fluid in the tube. Tighten lock nut. Have person release pedal then press pedal again. Loosen nut and watch for bubbles. Continue pressing pedal and loosening/tightening nut until there are no more bubbles seen in the tube. Also check brake fluid reservior to make sure it is full. As more air is bled out of the brake system, your reservior level will go down. Do rear brakes first then move to front. If it continues to happen, you have a leak in your brake system.

Fluid in bubble tubes

The same thing happened to my ijuke the fluid just disappeared. I called crosley three weeks ago the person I talked to said the service department would call me back.I am still waiting...I talked to my sister, she bought an ijuke at target the same day I bought mine. she said that she had her ijuke lights on and the fluid just started squirting out of the top of the tube by the silver medallion and that everywhere the fluid touched it melted the plastic.
