Need remote code to add to universal remote - Pioneer VSX-D409

Do a search on Amazon for your Make (GE) and Model #, Universal remote or remote and you should get a list of remotes made for your TV.

...or try several search engines looking, again for Make and Model # but this time add the words, "Universal remote code."

What is the make and model of the universal remote? They each have their own sets of codes, so there's not a code for your DVD that works with all universal remotes.

Post back the make and model info using the "add comment" button, and I'll do my best to look up RCA DVD player codes for it.

some say though that you can't add a new code to a universal remote.
You need a learning or programmable remote to do that

I have the remote control but i need the code to add in my toshiba tv

Is the remote control the one that came with the set or is it a universal? If the remote came with the tv, it may have a bad internal rubber pad board ( not fixable ), if it's a universal remote, you may need to change the code of add the codes for the dvd. The dvd and the tv work internally on seperate codes. I hope this has helped
