UNLOCK BLACKBERRY 7230

Why don't you try "unlockgenie" website. They provide unlock codes for all types of phones. I unlocked my BB Curve 8520 from this site and got my unlock code via e-mail. The response was instantaneous. Got unlock code within minutes.
I would recommend all to try this

Everytime it search for a coverage it automatically shuts off

hi friend,

First make sure it's not set to automatically shut off. Go to Options...Auto On/Off and make sure Weekday and Weekend are set to Disabled.
Mine doesn't shut off automatically. However, sometimes when I shut the phone and then turn it back on, the mobile network is not on and I have to go to "manage connections" and turn it on. I checked the options and both weekday and weekend are disabled

thank u for using fixya

I'm trying to unlock my BlackBerry RIM 7230. It's a T Mobile phone but I changed carriers and want to use my BlackBerry with my new service provider.

You would have to call T-moble customer care and give them the IMEI # off the back of the blackberry they should be able to pull the unlock code for your specific blackberry. I just had to do the same thing wit my RAZR V3 ( was an AT&T phone, then went to T-mobile ). Hope this helps

Connecting bluetooth to blackberry

Hi. You didn't say which Blackberry you have. I'll assume you know who to open "Options" (if not, please let me know what model you are using and I'll give you more specific instructions.

To connect your headset, start on your Blackberry.
Open "Options"
Open "Bluetooth"
Open menu within Bluetooth
If not already on, click "Enable Bluetooth"
Open Bluetooth menu again.
Open "Options".
Turn "Discoverable" to "Yes"

Now to your headset.
Start with your headset turned off.
Press and hold down the silver call control button.
After 6-10 seconds, the light will flash blue, then it will flash red, then blue.
Release the buton when you see the red/blue.

Back to your Blackberry.
Again open "Options"
"Bluetooth"
Open the Bluetooth menu.
Click on "Add Device".
Your Blackberry will search for your headset.
If you are prompted for a Passkey, use 0000 (that's 4 zeros).
After a short time, your headset will appear on your Blackberry.
It is now ready to use.

Make sure you go back into Bluetooth Options and change "Discoverable" back to "No".

A tip: If you will not be using your headset for a while, "Disable" Bluetooth to save battery life.

Hope that helps!
