Hip Street wont turn ON

My Hip Street 1 GB device will charge and flashes, that it is charging. But, when i take it off the USB cord it will not work! I try reset button, pushing on the play button for a long time, which is to turn it on. Holding down other buttons and NO luck. I never even got the chance to use it.

I'm having somewhat the same problem. I keep trying to turn on my mp3 but it flashes light and weird designs. The only thing I could think of was restarting it.The other thing would be to take it to the pawn shop where they could help you or go to the store that you purchased it from. It might be a defect and you could get your money back.

No problem here.
From the owner's manual (link below) page 3.
Use the USB cable to connect your player to your computer. First charge takes three hours (the red LED will come on steadily), after that, two hours is sufficient to bring your player up to full charge.

Hope this helps you out.

Have you tried using another charging cord? There could be a fault there. If the cord is the only one you have, see if you can find a friend with the same phone to test whether theirs works for you, then buy a new cord if that's the problem.

Try another cord. Charging and data use separate wires so charging may work while data transmission not

My Hip Street MP3 Player wont charge
Make sure it is not a faulty USB Cable. You might have to replace it. There is not much you can do because it could be a lot of things. THere is no where you can send it into to get fixed. I would get a new one :(
