The fan in the oven is really loud and making weird nosies

I'm guessing your problem is the fan in the oven. To fix: 1. with oven cold, remove back wall fan cover in oven. 2. remove fan. 3. clean and lubricate. 4. install fan. 5. install fan cover making sure fan is not touching. If cover does touch fan, gently bend cover away from fan and install.

by loud noise do you mean squeeling squaking .
then its the fan bearing just order another fan motor.

sounds like the blade is loose and hitting the housing. check that the set screw is tight. also check to see if shaft is worn where the blade wont stay tight.

I would suspect that the problem is caused by the external cooling fan located under the outside cooker cabinet housing, which continues to operate as the oven is cooling down if it is built in, you will have to remove it from the oven housing to access the fan

There will be some noise from the fan, but it should not be excessive, if it is really loud, then this is an indication that the fan is failing, and should be replaced ASAP.

It will be the external cooling fan that is causing the noise.
Probably worn beaqring or broken fan blade.
Normally, the only solution is to replace the fan motor.
It is located at the top of the oven, usually at the rear, but not in every case.

does the noise start as soon as you turn the fan oven on?
does the noise stop as you turn off?
just depending what make and model you have there is two fans
in it 1 is the fan motor inside oven at back and other
is the cooling fan which is at top of oven .you just need
to find out which one it is and just replace . then should be back to normal

We have a double ge wall oven. The vent fans had become really loud. I checked the price for new fans...$275 each! Plus service of $200. If your oven is not too old, go to GE service purchase a 1 year service contract for $93.00. Wait one one month till it takes effect. Call them and request service and the entire replacement is free.

what you are describing is the cooling fan. That fan will come on to keep the electronic control panel cool. It is normal for tat to come on even if your done with the oven. I dont think is should be as loud as you describe. I would try the oven again and if it is still loud I would call for service because it is new. That fan will also come on when you use the self clean cycle.
