If you have a Kenmore or Dacor, Thermador, Amana Caloric, Westinghouse, Admirals, or if you have some retagged oven from this brands, F2 is temperature runaway, usually a bad temperature probe.
On Admirals you may need to test the relay board.

Try disconnecting power (trip circuit breaker or disconnect power cord).
If the error is still there, test if the probe has continuity, then eventually replace it.
On Whirlpool ovens F2 is a faulty keypad assembly.
To get a technician to do the repair call the support number listed on the manual.

How do you clear er

Hi friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that you are receiving an "ER" error code on your Frigidaire range and you want to clear the code. "ER" stands for error, I would recommend performing a reset which can be done by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. That should clear any false error codes. If you continue to receive an "ER" or any different codes please provide that feedback. I hope this helps. -Matt

Maytag mgr7775wb is not regulating temp properly

Why is the oven temperature incorrect?

The oven temperature controlis usually controlled by a thermostat that uses a capillary and liquid filled bulb. When the bulb's liquid gets heated up, it expands and puts pressure on a diaphragm which opens and closes a switch that controls the gas to the burner. Just set the dial to what you need the temperature to be. Over time, it is possible for your thermostat to lose its calibration. Sometimes, the thermostat sensing bulb comes loose from the holder. If it is out of place, the thermostat may be getting faulty readings. If this is the problem, re-aligning the bulb properly will take care of this problem.Digital display models use a sensor to control temperature. If this is faulty, replace it. Other ovens use a mechanical system to control the temperature. On many models, you can adjust your oven thermostat using a small screwdriver. The adjusting screw is located on the thermostat valve stem. Remove the knob and you'll see the screw underneath it. You want to turn the oven on and run it through at least two cycles while watching a calibrating thermometer in the oven for high and low temperatures. Adjust the screw as necessary to fine tune the temperature. Some models don't have an adjustable thermostat, and you will have to replace the thermostat if you want to resolve the problem.
The oven sensor:works with the oven control board to regulate the oven temperature. If there is an oven temperature problem, this sensor might be defective. The sensor can be tested by using an ohm meter. As temperature rises, the resistance measurement also rises. The manufacturer of the oven sensor determines the correct resistance,Oven temperature problems can be caused by other things, but this is one of the common causes.
Beware on some models nowmost of these ovens they are electronic and they are integrated into the control itself
some different sensor ohm readings at room temp. approx 16 ohms at room temperature and at 350?F it is 29~33 ohms.

HOW TO CALIBRATE OVEN TEMPERATURE INDICATOR AND THE OVEN TEMPERATURE ON THERMADOR PRD304EG RANGE

If you remove the knob, you will see the very center of the male part the know attaches to has a small flat head screw in the middle of it. Buy turning this screw in and out, you are micro adjusting the temp when the oven cycles on and off. Its best to have a digital thermometer set up within the oven so you can see exactly when the oven cycles on and off. It's going to fluctuate about 20-30 degrees. So set your oven to 350, let it turn on and watch carefully when the red light shuts off it should be between within 30 degrees from where you set it, up or down. If its too low, turn in( could be out, I forgot) the screw in the center of that know with a mini flat head screw driver. If you turn it and the light goes back on, you turned it up. If it does not go on in an quarter turn, you went lower. Once your digital thermometer matches up closely whith what your oven says, your good. 25 degrees isn't much to be gentile whith turning that middle screw, you could miss your mark and be off even more very easealy.

I was trying to on oven all of a sudden massage appear f10

Hi khan, this is Z! Thank you for your post!

Typically error code F10 indicates that your range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. I suggest waiting approximately ten minutes and then turn on your range. If the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional technician to assist you in the exact diagnosis and repair of your range. Most likely the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hopes this help!

Oven temp fluctuates

It is normal for the thermal device to turn on and off. Obtaining a steady temp is not always possible. When setting a temperature on some ovens, they have what is called a tolerance point. That means a set temperature has a range of a few degrees up or down. At the Down point, the oven is triggered to energize the coils and bring the interior of the oven back to the settings desired. The other factor is opening the oven and allowing cool air to enter, or in some cases a leaking door seal allows air to enter and heat to escape.

F2 error after oven cleaning came across my display. I had to throw the breaker. Is this something that can be easily fixed?

Long Drain
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
  • Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
  • Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
  • If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.

JENN-AIR MODEL D156B Electric oven

Hi Sadirrd

Your problem (flashing F3) is most likely a defective temperature sensor. It may also be due to a open in the wiring harness connected to the sensor - unlikely but could be.
