Switch off at the mains. Take a side panel off and tip your dishwater over 45degrees towards th open side. Make sure you put towels down to soak up the water that will come out of the base. This will reset the flood detector. Reassemble. Switch back on and let the dishwasher finish its cycle and away you go. Remember this does not solve the reason for the flooding but it will get your dishwasher going again. Depending on the cause of flooding you may only need to reset like this once a year.
To the question of why the flooding is occuring:
Make sure you take of the left hand (as you look from the front) side panel while you are carrying out the 'tipping' solution and check the large flat water circulating tank. Clogging by grease and grime reduces the effective cleaning ability of the dishwasher and causes the tank to overflow via the clear plastic (bottom right) pipe into the base of the machine.
I found that by carefully rerouting the res wires round the back of the tank, removing the pipes from the bottom and then unclipping multiple clips around the edge that the tank hinges forwards and can then be lifted up and out for unclogging with pipecleaners, detergent and hot water. Rinse, reassemble in reverse making sure all the clips are properly home and do a trial cycle to watch the function of the circulation tank before putting the side back on.

Make sure that drain filter and hose line is free not clogged so the water can drain out easy.
Also take care of manuak instructions about anti-flood system
"The anti-flood system provides dependable protection against damage
due to leaks. For this system to function correctly, the following
preconditions must be met:
– The appliance must remain connected to the mains even when it is
switched off.
– The dishwasher must be correctly installed.
– Always shut off the water supply at the tap when the dishwasher is
not to be used for longer periods, e.g. when you are away on holiday."
