Theses are called 3/4 door busings and should be changed when you replace the left side door rod (complete)and are available from any parts depot that sells bakers pride parts

I have the same ovens and you only get the bushings ac far as i know when you buy the door spring assembly .make sure you get the right one because there are 2 sizes ,the older ovens have a thicker bushing.and its not that hard to replace if you can take it apart.that door is very heavy so be careful

Bakers pride problems

I am betting that a lift assist spring has come unattached. You will have to take it apart to find where it did and how to reattach.

I have a Bakers pride y-600 oven . What is the best way for top door to be taken off ??

On the left side, remove the knobs and cover. The spring holding the door closed needs to be removed. Have someone hold the door closed while removing the door spring. Now let the door open and you will see two screws holding the door to the door rod assembly on the left side. These screws are usually 9/16. After removing the two screws, the door will pull off the door pin that is located on the right side.

I need to get 2 slates for y600 pizza ovens do you sale them.

When your looking for this part it is called the "Stone Deck"

36" X 60" for most Y600 Models. FixYa is a "help you" site not a full blown retail outlet.

This is the Y-600-(old style) manual:
http://www.bakerspride.com/pdfs/Y-600%20Parts%20List%20OLD%20STYLE%207-05.pdf

This is the Y-600 manual: http://www.bakerspride.com/pdfs/PartList/Y-600%20Parts%20List%20U6050A%208-08.pdf

This is the Y-600-DSP manual:
http://www.bakerspride.com/pdfs/Y-600%20DSP%20%20Parts%20List%20U6051A%202-07.pdf

Their website went down for maintenance as I was doing this. But their phone number is on the website. http://www.bakerspride.com/

Thier manuals list is here. Note the price list for parts is at the very bottom block top of 3rd row.

Need a wiring schematic for a Bakers Pride p44 double pizza oven.

hi..there is color coding on the wires..BLACK WIRE is the live wire(wire #1) which should be connected on top of the terminal supply of your oven (if vertically positioned) and sometimes to the leftmost right(horizontally positioned),then the RED WIRE to the bottom (vertically positioned),or rightmost part (horizontally positioned) and the WHITE WIRE is at the center(both horizontally/vertically positioned0 and the GREEN wire must be connected to the grounding of the unit just below/beside the terminal supply of your oven..hope this helps

Pilot, controler and gas knob needed replacement

If you have the older Bakers pride manufactured more then 20 years ago and it has never had service, it sounds like the safety valve is defective, that's the red button you push in the light pilot, if the pilot is lit and when you turn the manual gas valve on for the main burner to lite and still it does not you problem still may be the safety and/or a failing thermocouple.

Thermostat setting for bakers pride y600 oven.

Hi, those screws are for the calibration of the knob to the thermostat, so your calibration is correct. Most likely you will have to contact a servicer to check the calibration, and set you knob and plate where they will align with the actual temp again.
Hope that helps, and thank you.
