Our power has been off and the ovens wont work.

The auto function will cut off the power to your oven try switching the oven to manual control to reset the control.

These things are a pain! When you first power up a lot of New Workd ovens, they come up in AUTO mode and the oven won't work, so you have to take it out of auto mode and stop the clock flashing. I'm giessing that though your clock DISPLAY isn't working, the clock is and the oven think it is.

There are 6 buttons below the clock display.To take it out of AUTO and stop the clock and oven thinking the display is flashing:

Numbering the buttons from left to right as 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (because they have silly symbols!) press the 4th button (a picture of a hand) you will hear a little click and the oven will now work. If you have to power the unit off for more than about a minute at any time, you will need to do this again

This means it is in auto mode. It must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven to ON. Some clocks have 2 or 3 buttons. Press the buttons at the same time/try all different combinations. This might take a few minutes, be patient. When the oven indicator lights the clock is in manual mode.

I know the answer. You ,must set the clock else the oven(s) wont work.

you have 2 buttons one pops out for adjustment the other is only a push button push the left hand one repeatedly till a red clock symbol shows at top of clock then turn right hand knob to set time wait a few seconds and clock will set itself.

Just to let you know that i have solved the problem with my cooker, (clock flashing after electric going off) i held down the cook period button and the end time button, then i was able to reset the clock by pressing the +button.

OK, so after searching around online I struggled to find an answer to this question.
I finally figured it out after trying all the different button combinations.
You can to press and hold the second button from the left and the third button from the left simultaneously. They while holding these buttons, press the plus and minus buttons to set the clock.
Once the clock is set, the over will work.

I know this is an old thread, but hopfully with will save the next person the headache.

The current 2008 manual says...

Setting the clock
When first connected, or after a power failure longer than 15 seconds, ‘0.00’ and AUTO will
flash on the display. To set the clock, press the <hand> button and then the <+> and <-> buttons.
Note: Changing the time (by pressing ) will delete any automatic program.

However this had no effect whatsoever on our 2002 vintage model. Frustrated random button pushes suggested:
<timer>+<cook> (two leftmost buttons together) will switch you into time set mode where you can then adjust by the <+> and <-> buttons.

you need to set clock before oven will work. do you still have instruction book as it will tell you there how to do it

My oven's fan is working but no heat what so ever what shall i do
