LCD monitor is damaged. Is there any way to fix it replace?

Need to check removing LCD ribbon cable in the monitor. but it is may be a damage of LCD screen ,need to replace the lcd.but in very first check and service the lcd.

Anytime you have straight lines on an LCD monitor, it indicates damage/failure in the LCD panel itself. The only fix is to replace the LCD panel.

It is evident that the LCD panel of the monitor is damaged. If your computer has Dell complete care you can get the monitor replaced. If not you can contact a local technician and get the LCP panel changed, with the remaining circuit boards and backlight assembly intact.

The LCD has been damaged. No fix, just replace.

Connect an external monitor to the VGA port on the computer. If that display is correct, then it's probably the LCD screen on your laptop that is damaged.

Find a computer-store. They may have "pre-owned" LCD screens the same size, for about $100.
A "brand-new" LCD screen is at least $200.

Replacing the LCD screen is *NOT* something that *YOU* can fix, unless you're a qualified technician.

You can replace the screen as a whole but, you will have to send it to a diesel audio repair terminal for this repair. the actual LCD replacement part is not available for consumer purchase.

The thin ribbon that connects the board on the back of the lcd screen to the front glass of the lcd screen got damaged.
It wraps around the top of the screen and is very thin and can be easily damaged.
May be from old age and heat at the top of the screen or it could have gotten hit at the top.
If you keep pushing it in and out you may damage another one and make another line.
The cheapest way to repair this is to replace the lcd screen with a good used one because trying to find a shop to try to repair it would cost more than a new monitor.
Sorry there isn't an easy fix to this.

After the damage the LCD panel had developed an internal liquid crystal leak.
The only way to fix the monitor is by replacing the LCD display panel, this is an expensive part and must be ordered from Dell.

Sounds like the LCD has sustained physical damage. Replacement is the normal solution.
